About the Journal
FULafia International Journal of Business and Allied Studies (FIJBAS), ISSN: 1116-5251 (Online) and 1116-5294 (Print), is a Journal of Business Administration Department, Faculty of Management Sciences, Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State – Nigeria. It is a biannual peer-review multidisciplinary research journal geared toward improving creative and innovative discovering of scholarly academic research and dissemination of research discovering across a wide spectrum of discipline to the world through online and print publication.
Submissions are open to topics in Business Administration and Management, Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Finance, Banking, Taxation, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Tourism Management, Education, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Peace and Conflict Studies, Security Studies, Transport Management, Law, History, Language, Psychology, Criminology, Insurance and other Allied Studies.
Guideline for Authors
The manuscript to be submitted should be such that has not been published before and not under consideration for publication anywhere else and its publication has been approved by all co-authors. Only relevant articles with theoretical and/or empirical contents that show scholarly and clear evidence of contribution to knowledge will be published.
All manuscripts can be submitted to the Editor in soft copies
All manuscripts should be typed in 1.5 lines spacing, with Margins of 1 inch on each side, using Times New Roman font size 12, not exceeding 6500 words or 17 pages on A4 paper, (this inclusive appendix, charts, tables, graphs and references)
The cover page should carry only the title of the paper, name(s), address(es) or institution(s), e-mail address(es), of the author(s) and phone number of the corresponding author.
Every article should have a concise abstract not more than 250 words. The abstract should include and not limited to, the major objective of the study, methodology, major findings and recommendations. It should have not more than 6 keyword below the abstract.
Quotations exceeding 40 words should be indented at the left side only in single line spacing. Those that are 40 words or less should be integrated with quotation marks: both should designate page number(s)
It is recommended that 50% of an article’s references should be current (less than ten years old)
Papers will go through blind peer review or assessment and those found publishable shall appear in journal edition
Articles submitted should not be more than 12% similarity index after plagiarism test.
All articles should conform to latest APA referencing style.

Upon acceptance of the article for publication after blind review, an acceptance letter and correction guide will be sent to the corresponding author.
